There are so many things to think about and even more to PRAY about when you have a child about to graduate high school and go away to college. How thankful I am for the many Bible verses that bring comfort as I prepare to send my first born into the world.

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."
Ps. 91:1
It will be hard to let her go but you also know what a great thing it is for her. God will protect and watch over her and you at home as well. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim! I can't wait to come to Aleah's wedding! You are entering into a fun time of your life too!! I pray that Shae will continue to make great decisions and end up serving the Lord with the ONE God has chosen for her...like Aleah has done!
ReplyDeleteI don't like to think about Hilary going away to college at all. Sometimes I think I pretend it is not going to happen. Hilary will be going to a secular college and living in the dorms, and it will be a stretch for my faith, that's for sure. I pray SOOOOOOOO much more now that my kids are teenagers and almost adults.
ReplyDeleteHi Inger! This is Angela Markham. I worked at camp Summer 1999 and 2000. It was so wonderful to stumble upon your blog and see your family. Shae is so grown up and beautiful. I remember holding Anna....
