Scott makes the breakfast every morning for the girls before they go to school. (okay, I will be honest, he empties the dishwasher and makes lunches while he does breakfast too!!) It is usually eggs or steel cut oatmeal...but the weekends are a different story! One of the best things he makes is German Oven Pancakes.
3 eggs
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup milk
2 T melted butter
1/4 t salt
Beat eggs. Gradually add flour, then remaining ingredients. Thoroughly grease a cast iron skillet. Pour in batter. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. (It will puff up pretty big). Take out of the oven, cut into wedges, serve immediately with butter and syrup or fruit and powdered sugar.

Okay, YUMMY!!!!!!!! Those look great! And seriously, where did you find this guy? :)
Oh Jennifer, if you only knew...I am so ruined by him! He also cleans the kitchen and the kitchen floor!!!!! I guess he gets it from his Dad, who is very much the same.(and from running ladies' retreats by themselves for so many years!! I used to hate it that he is a better cook, but now I LOVE it!!(and I am not a breakfast lover, i like me some corn flakes!)
Those look soooo good! I'll have to give the recipe to my husband. He cooks breakfast on Friday and Saturday morns for the family. He grocery shops, makes dinner, and helps clean up the kitchen. We've got some awesome husbands!
GO SCOTT! Wow, that looks super yummy. I am printing out the recipe right now...you should add it to WFDD.
You got yourself a GOOD MAN!
What in the world? Breakfast, lunches, dishwasher and kitchen floor?! WOOHOO!
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so I know I would love those pancakes!
