Frustration!

We love this little chocolate chip cookie eating, mess making girl.
But, there are a few things that are extremely frustrating about her!
Taking pictures of her is so extremely frustrating, it is hard to even explain.
For some reason, she will not pose, look at the camera and smile all at the same time.
(yes, I know she is "legally blind" and all, but she does know where I am standing..helloooo)
Unless you make a crude noise or talk about "tooting"...
See what I mean? She gets it in her head that she is NOT going to do it...and she doesn't.
I end up all sweaty and emotional from the huge effort I have to put forth.
And then Anna breaks out a pose and smile that makes me forget all my anxiety.
God knew what He was doing when He gave me her. I love this girl.

YOu know what I do.. my little trick is I tell kids a story as I shoot them. It makes for great laughs, moments to capture. I usually just start out going for a walk with my little kid and tell them a story , they love and I end up getting great shots!

Oooh... I think I'm going to steal Kate's idea. =0) I think that Lindsey is beautiful no matter what look is on her face. Anna is turning into such a beautiful young lady too. You are one blessed Mama.
I made your special K bars today. I'll let you know how they turned out. Samantha enjoyed licking the spatula that I used to stir the chocolate. =0)

What sweet pictures and what a funny post! I laughed at your description of the picture taking. My kids are not special needs but are impossible to take pictures of...I end up sweating like a pig and doing all kinds of antics to no avail. I never noticed before but Anna looks so much like Laurie. You are blessed!
