Shae's Very Bad Day

While Shae was at school yesterday (a christian school, AT A CHURCH!) her car was broken into! It happened between 1:30 and 2:00- broad day light! Earlier this year some of the boys had wallets stolen during Basketball practice and a few pastors' cars were broken into as well!! The parking lot is about 10 steps from the building where the HS classes are. The cars next to her were damaged as well. with dented doors and cracked windshields, but nothing was taken. Shae's Juicy purse and wallet were taken (and her camera was in her purse too). She saved for that purse and is sad about losing it, but she is heartbroken over losing a note her Dad wrote her that she kept in her wallet!Hopefully the thief will enjoy the purse (and hopefully they know what Juicy is!!) Now I am off to make her an appointment at the DMV for a replacement Driver's Licence!
Keep you valuables with you, or hidden! Guess times are tough if you have to steal from HS students!

My dad had his jacket stolen there too back in Nov. It had all his keys in it. Bummer. Sounds like they are the target for people wanting to cause heartache. So sorry for Shae!

That is terrible- And what a sick feeling you're left with after something like that.

Hope they catch the perps.

I hate it when someone violates you like that! We had our wheels and tires stolen off of our car one night and then two weeks later, our other car was broken into. They stole a bunch of nothing from that one, and even took a little emergency kit I had in the car w/ of all things, tampons in it! I sure hope they needed those!

Sorry your daughter had to experience this and I hope she never has to again.

Oh I feel for her. There is nothing worse than having things that are important to you taken by someone who will not value them. So sad about the note from her dad :(

POOR SHAE!!! That is terrible. and especially that it happened at Church/School. Have they no shame...no fear of God???

I am laughing that Julie called the person a Perp. she has been watching too much Law & Order!

I thought the same think, Nikki! Julie, calling them "perps". I hope they catch them, too. Do they think it was kids?

Poor Shae. That is so sad about the note:( Hopefully the person will empty the contents somewhere and you'll find at least that.

That stinks! I have been hearing similar stories from many people lately. Think I will clean all the junk out of my car tomorrow! Sorry you guys had to go through this.

Inger, That is horrible. I'm so sorry to hear that happened. So sorry for Shae, I know it's frustrating when things like CDs or purses get taken , but when a letter from your dad - that has great value to you - is gone that just rips at your heart.
By the way, I love reading these blogs. I wish I had the patience and creativity to do this. Thanks for sharing your life stories and posting pictures, I love it.
Tell Scott Hi, Much Love, Barbara :)

Are you kidding me? I seriously can't believe the nerve of people who can do this in broad daylight! Well, that stinks and I'm sorry you guys are having to deal with that. Maybe, just maybe, they'll find those creeps and find a few things??? Let's hope so!

I love the new blog look! :)

Okay, apparently I need to proofread what I write a little better before I post it. I hate typos!
