Teacher Gift Idea

I have a daughter in High School and I always feel like the HS teachers don't get gifts anymore! So I copied a cute idea I saw on my blog friend, Rachels blog (http://www.eoberrys.blogspot.com/), at the beginning of the school year. (she is very creative!!)
I went to http://www.studiojk.etsy.com/ and ordered the "kitchen" labels..only I chose teacher names instead of kitchen names. They were fun and E.A.S.Y. to put on the jars I found at Ross for $3.49 each (labels were $15 for 6).
I filled the jars with candy from Target (halloween section 50% off-but the candy itself isn't packaged for halloween). It beats trying to think of something to bake, and then having to BAKE it. The candy made the labels not show up, so I just took a dozen pencils each and lined them behind the label...problem solved!

I thought these would be cute sitting on their desks...and they could have a sweet afternoon "pick me up", or use them to bribe their students!!

My husband is a high school teacher and I agree 100%. They never get gifts! On a rare occassion he has received small gifts and he appreciates it so much. Those teachers are going to love it and I am going to go to studio jk and copy this idea right away. Thanks for passing it on!

I love your new background and the canisters are adorable! Wow - it must feel so good to have Christmas presents all ready!! I am impressed. I should have given you some of our left over candy. I didn't even think of it until I read your post - you should have said something because I don't know what I am going to do with all of it! Shae's teachers will love their gifts!

You are so crafty, Inger. See, you are just a pro at this blogging thing already. I also love your background and I love the picture of your girls.

Your SIL, Stephanie, gave me some hand-me-down baby girl clothes last week. EAH!!!! GOD BLESS HER HEART!

Gosh Kristi, you scored on the hand me downs! I always say that I should have had my kids LAST...because the cousins are all better dressers than us!
