Initial Ornaments

These are absolutely the easiest ornaments to make if you are "craft challenged". You will need:

*ball ornaments
*various patterns of ribbon
*sharpies or paint pens

Just match the pen color to whatever ribbon you choose, write the name, initial or monogram and you are finished! We are making these to go in the "goodie buckets" for the volleyball party! I have done them for boys too...usr basketball or soccer ribbon!!

{I can't wait to show you my family room tree...see the shot gun shell lights, chili pepper lights and bandana??}

GREAT idea - yours just makes sense. I've done something similar using the letter stickers (just one as an intial) on the ornament to personalize. Not sure if that makes sense.

You have a great blog!!

Nancy, You could also put polka dots on them like Nikki and Julie did with pumpkins! I saw some today at a gift store that said Grandma and Daddy, etc...for 14.99.They were written in black and had green and red polka dots! Cute...but we can totally make them!

Very cute!

Also...I am embarrassed to say that I just got your Winter Swap gift out today. I tried twice over the weekend to actually get out of the house and do some shopping but it didn't happen. So I decided to just do a little internet shopping instead, which is even better because I don' have to stand in line at the post office with all the "snow birds" (the elderly that come to FL for the winter).

Anyway, your gift should be on its way within the next 24 hours. Me really like it!
